Right Back Atcha

Right Back Atcha

In November, to tie in with Liverpool’s Homotopia Festival, we organised a celebration night for the project and invited the local community, who had all contributed in some form. Sandi came up with the name, ‘Right Back Atcha’ which stems from all the support from people she has had over the years and a need to pass back to people the things she has documented over the decades.

The event took the form of a mixture of performance, DJ’s, live music, film and projections and was held at DISTRICT in Liverpool. It was a fantastic night. We had performances from Gerry Potter (who premiered a newly commissioned poem about Sandi with support from Homotopia) , Jennifer John, Mick Head, Lady Seanne and Silk Tray. Michelle Walker documented the evening and you can see her 20 minute edit of the events below as well as a link to the photos of the night. Thanks so much to everyone who has supported us through this amazing year.
